Since our family’s first retail store opened in 1973, Wicker and Rattan Services Inc. has had years of experience to our name in helping our customers with furniture restorations. We specialize in wicker and rattan restoration and take pride in the fact that we are the only restoration shop offering these types of repairs and restorations for these delicate and beautiful pieces. 

Wicker Furniture Restoration

We offer complete wicker restoration services! First the repairs needed to the actual wicker are completed. Whether that be re-weaving, replacing wicker fibers entirely, and more! Next, we will prepare the furniture to be painted. We have over 1200 paint colors to choose from and we use an oil based exterior enamel similar to what you’d paint the outside of your house with. If the furniture is natural, we coat it with a polyurethane varnish. This ensures a durable, long-lasting finish.

Natural Wicker

Natural wicker has no color to it, it’s like its name, natural. A lot of times we will see people bring in their natural wicker for restoration and it’s very faded. At Wicker and Rattan Services Inc. we have different processes we utilize to get the color revitalized, like oiling it or re-staining. We will then just like with all of our restored pieces, finish it with our polyurethane varnish to protect your newly restored piece.

Rattan Furniture Restoration

Rattan furniture is made from the actual rattan plant fibers. This makes the chair’s material very valuable and needs to be handled by professionals who know what they’re doing. Much like our wicker restoration services, our rattan restoration services follow the same protocol and are handled with the same level of care. We offer any needed repairs, re-staining, oiling and varnishing to restore the beauty of your one of a kind piece.
